About Us

I am an artist and children's author and illustrator of many picture books. My family is what is most important to me and all my inspiration for my work comes from them. I love being outdoors in any weather, walking and cycling. I would like to be remembered as an enthusiast and someone who is never bored!

How we started

I have loved Northumberland since I was a small child. My father grew up there and we would spend school holidays in the area, walking on the stunning white beaches and hiking in the remote Cheviot Hills.

I now do the same with my own children. Once you have discovered this amazing county, like me, you will want to return again and again. 

I may be biased, but I think that there is nowhere more beautiful in the world!

I love Northumberland, Chatton and The Old Post Office and I want my guests to love it too.
